HAWAII ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGE AGENTS

Green Fee Task Force
On a mission to build visitor stewardship, conserve our cultural and natural resources, and invest in our ʻāina with a visitor green fee. Visit the Hawai’i Green Fee website for more information.
Conference has been underway since last week, and House and Senate conferees must decide on the final version of SB304 by this Friday 4/28. Senate conferees have been assigned, but we still don’t have House conferees. Our team has been at the Capitol Building meeting with key players, but we need pressure to ensure SB304 is passed and an actual visitor impact fee program is implemented this year.
Without conferees, SB304 will die.
We are running out of time.
How to help
-
The best way to help is to please contact Speaker Saiki and ask him to assign conferees and pass SB304 as a full program this year
Other ways that are helpful:
-
Contact your district representative and urge them to pass SB304
-
Ask your district representative to talk to their colleagues to do the same
-
Comment on your representatives social media to pass SB304
This is our last chance.
